Deep Freezer Room

Deep freezer room — −25°C to −35°C deep frozen holding

A deep freezer room operates between −25°C and −35°C for products that need very low temperature storage. Higher insulation thickness, stronger refrigeration and careful site design are required.

    Use cases

    • Long-term frozen storage
    • Some seafood and processed meat
    • Specialised pharma or industrial use

    Higher insulation and stronger refrigeration

Thicker PUF panels, higher capacity refrigeration and more attention to vapour seal and floor design.

    Important site conditions

    • Ambient and shading
    • Stable 3-phase power
    • Levelled, prepared floor base
    • DG backup

    Product loading assumptions

Products should ideally enter pre-frozen. Bringing warm product into a deep freezer dramatically increases load and slows down freeze time.
