Why bank appraisal matters for any scheme
Almost every subsidy scheme — MIDH, NHB, AIF, PMFME — is credit-linked. Without a bank-sanctioned term loan, those subsidies cannot be released. A clean bank appraisal is therefore the single most leveraged step in any cold storage project.
Typical loan structure
- Promoter equity (margin money) as per bank policy
- Term loan for capital cost, tenure typically 5–10 years
- Moratorium during construction / commissioning
- DSCR-driven repayment schedule
